From HR to people management

According to a People Management 2025 study conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers, HRM functions will be more important in HR management by 2025 than traditional personnel management.  Talent management, employee qualification and competence management, in particular, will play a huge role. Even so, only 34 percent of the companies surveyed consider themselves well prepared for future challenges in terms of people management. Thirty-seven percent feel that they are ill-equipped.

The digitisation of business and skills shortages call for new forms of leadership and collaboration, as traditional human resources strategies are reaching their limits.

Motivation, understanding, empathy and personal responsibility are gaining recognition as key prerequisites for agility, innovativeness and people management leadership.  HR management of the future will therefore be less concerned with overarching processes, systems, responsibilities, KPIs, etc. Instead, the question will be how to enable employees to think, communicate, collaborate, learn and develop their talents on a long-term basis to grow personally and professionally.

How to turn managers into coaches

In this webinar, Armin Trost will talk about leadership transformation and how to turn managers into coaches, partners and enablers. You’ll also get to ask questions and learn about

  • New leadership roles in times of uncertainty and complexity.

  • Why individual reflection is key.

  • A practical leadership coaching approach.

  • About the importance of HR structures and processes.

  • The right mix of soft skills and hard numbers.

Being a people manager sounds like a great job profile. And because it’s precisely this profile, along with the right leadership behaviour, that is so much in demand in today's business world, every executive coaching programme should include it.

We look forward to seeing you in our webinar!

“Good managers really know the role they want to play.”
